ACCOMODATIONS
All our rates are per/person based on double occupancy. For those guests traveling alone, if you chose, we will assign you a roommate of the same gender. If, by some chance, we are unable to match you with a roommate we never charge a single supplement fee. For those guests registering 3 weeks or less before a trip departure date a single supplement surcharge may apply (see details under prices).

TRAVEL
If you decide to drive to the trip, you will be sent driving directions to the starting point. The airport pick ups for our trips are as follows:

Details on pick up times, travel directions, pre and post-trip hotels/inns will be sent to you in your confirmation packet. There is no charge for transportation from meeting point.

TRAVEL SERVICE
For the last 8 years we've worked with a travel service out of Waitsfield, VT, BETTER TRAVEL. Familiar with all our itineraries they can assist you with all your travel plans.

NOTE: For U.S. trips beginning on Sunday you may find greater savings on air fares including a Saturday night stay over.

CHILDREN
Children 10 years and older are welcomed on all our tours when accompanied by an adult. There is no reduction in price unless the child is the third person in the room. Please call to discuss the suitability of a particular tour.

CONFIRMATION PACKETS
Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a trip confirmation packet that includes a general information sheet with suggestions on what to bring, details on the hikes & weather, travel directions, pre and post-trip hotels/inns and a trip insurance application brochure.

RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS
To make a reservation contact us for a reservation form. For weekend trips we require a $300 per person deposit. All other tours are $500 per person except European trips which are $1000 per person. Deposits can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover) or by mailing checks or money orders payable in U.S. dollars to New England Hiking Holiday. The balance of your tour is due 60 days prior to tour departure date. With your authorization, we can automatically bill your credit card when the balance us due.
If your tour is booked within 60 days of departure date, final payment is due at that time.

Refunds of deposits will be sent less a 10% cancellation fee provided that written cancellation is received at least 60 days prior to departure date. After that time any monies paid are forfeited.

There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early.

NEHH reserves the right to make changes to itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event that NEHH has to cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund. NEHH cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses incurred due to changes in itinerary or trip cancellation.
